Detailed Job Description:

The Business Analyst for Mobile Applications plays a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and business teams to ensure mobile solutions align with user expectations and business goals. This role requires a blend of technical insight, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to guide the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-launch analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

<> Requirement Gathering</>
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document clear, concise business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs and business goals.
<>Analysis and Documentation</>
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including:
  • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Functional Specifications
  • Use Cases
  • User Stories
<> Project Management Support</>
  • Assist project managers in defining scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Help prioritize requirements based on business impact and technical feasibility.
<>Stakeholder Communication</>
  • Act as the liaison between business units, developers, QA teams, and UI/UX designers.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
<>Solution Design</>
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to propose user-centric solutions.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and business alignment of proposed solutions.
<>Testing and Quality Assurance</>
  • Develop test plans and scenarios for functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Coordinate and support UAT sessions, gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
<>Market and Competitor Analysis</>
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor mobile applications.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for innovation and competitive advantage.
<>8. Post-launch Support</>
  • Track app performance and user behavior through analytics tools.
  • Recommend updates and enhancements based on user feedback and data insights.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in mobile app development.
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in documentation tools like Confluence, JIRA, or similar.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles and mobile usability best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
