Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Infrastructure Engineer.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end-clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Job Description:

Develop a comprehensive migration strategy for our data infrastructure and workloads to Google Cloud Platform Handle complex migrations from legacy Teradata warehousing solutions or on-prem Hadoop/Hive to Big Query in Google Cloud Platform Implement Cloud based solutions based on various Google Cloud Platform services and technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Bigtable, Dataform, Data fusion, cloud spanner, Cloud SQL, Cloud functions and Cloud scheduler.

Skills Required:

• Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure as Code Terraform Development Deployment through Tekton pipeline GitHub Python
• Cloudera Hadoop/Hive Rally Agile Framework
• At least 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform 2 Years of Terraform development Additional 1-2 years of Python development experience
• Experience in managing complex and reusable dataflow pipelines is highly desired.
• Experience in building real-time ingestion and processing frameworks on Google Cloud Platform.
• Adaptability to learn new technologies and products as the job demands.
