Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior UAT Lead with strong expertise in Financial Services and Mortgage industry applications. The Senior UAT Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, coordinating with business stakeholders, managing test teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of business-critical applications. This role requires strong domain knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on testing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the UAT process for Financial and Mortgage applications.
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to define UAT strategy, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
Review business requirements, functional specifications, and system designs to ensure complete test coverage.
Coordinate UAT execution, defect management, and test status reporting.
Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams during UAT.
Identify, track, and manage risks/issues related to UAT activities.
Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and business-critical scenarios are tested.
Mentor junior QA/UAT analysts and oversee test execution across multiple projects.
Provide go/no-go recommendations for production release readiness.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of QA/UAT experience with at least 3 4 years in a UAT Lead role.
Strong experience in Financial Services and Mortgage domain (loan origination, servicing, underwriting, secondary markets, or compliance).
Deep understanding of UAT methodologies, defect lifecycle, and testing best practices.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, or similar).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to bridge business and IT.
Experience managing onsite-offshore teams is a plus.
Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements in financial/mortgage systems.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with end-to-end Mortgage lifecycle processes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to automation frameworks for UAT support (nice to have, not required).
