Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and conduct research and development projects in the field of construction engineering, focusing on structural engineering, materials, and processes.
2. Apply advanced engineering methods and principles to design, test, and improve construction technologies and practices.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities and develop innovative solutions to complex construction challenges.
4. Analyze and interpret data from tests and experiments, using statistical analysis and modeling techniques to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
5. Develop and implement testing protocols for construction materials and structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, through reports, presentations, and technical papers.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the construction industry and engineering research, to ensure our company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a research engineer role in the construction industry, with a focus on structural engineering and testing.
3. Proven experience applying engineering methods to solve complex problems and improve processes.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and technologies.
5. Experience developing and implementing testing protocols, and interpreting test results.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the construction industry and engineering research.
