Job Details

Title: Junior Project Manager/IT Project Coordinator (bilingual Spanish or Portuguese)
Industry: Enterprise Financial Services
Location: Jersey City, NJ (4 days on-site per week)
Duration: 3+ month contract
Compensation: $38-44/hour
Work Requirements: , Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

In this role, you will focus on supporting the strategies and plans from the Latin America and Canada Regional offices that drive the company s technology agenda and align it with company standards and best practices. Responsibilities include collaborating with leaders and strategic partners to ensure the execution; support the goals and policies of the company across the region; reviewing project plans, roadmaps, and other reporting; building awareness and adoption of strategic priorities, monitor key projects and portfolio KPI's; report risks, remediation actions and escalate issues.
Travel to Mexico or Canada might be required.
Education: Bachelor s degree
Previous Experience: Approx. 2+ years in Business analysis/IT Project Management/PMO coordination role (PM is nice to have), and experience with Waterfall/Agile. Will consider a college grad with a degree in a similar field. Must be seeking a career in project management.
Ability to lead related parties with different interests to a reasonable consensus.

Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Skills: Advanced - MS Project, Excel; Proficient - MS Word, PowerPoint

Second Language Required (Spanish or Portuguese)
Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
