Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

About the Role: As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in defining business needs and functional solutions for online banking and financial products. You will leverage your expertise and facilitation skills to identify, interpret, and define business needs and translate them into functional product solutions that impact millions of users. This role requires independence, accountability, and the ability to own the full cycle of BSA activities and deliverables for software development projects. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior BSAs, collaborate within a global Community of Practice, and pursue career growth along both management and technical tracks.


Essential Job Responsibilities

Develop subject matter expertise by quickly learning complex product systems, services, structures, architectures, and features.

Work within a SAFe Agile Framework as a member of Core Product Teams and Delivery Teams.

Collaborate with Core Product Teams to plan and drive product releases, including feature exploration and release planning.

Partner with Delivery Teams to define functional and non-functional requirements, manage prioritized backlogs, and support sprint ceremonies.

Identify stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and lead workshops to capture requirements and priorities.

Create clear, complete, and unambiguous documentation for development, QA, technical writers, and other internal stakeholders.

Contribute to incident and problem management processes, particularly around connectivity requirements for large-scale data center migrations.

Experiment with and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Deliver high-quality products and services that meet client needs and expectations.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to other team members, sharing expertise to benefit the organization.


Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

Experience:

10+ years total as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.

Proven track record in Agile/Scrum software delivery.

Experience managing a backlog of functional and non-functional requirements.

Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through requirements gathering and release planning.

Hands-on experience with web services and complex system integrations.

Financial services industry experience.


Additional Skills / Knowledge

Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities within the BSA role.

Excellent analytical, organizational, facilitation, communication, writing, and decision-making skills.

Ability to represent and advocate for the BSA function in the absence of a peer or manager.

Familiarity with online banking and e-commerce platforms.

Prior development experience is a plus.
