Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing complex network infrastructures. The role involves ensuring optimal network performance, troubleshooting critical issues, and supporting enterprise-level connectivity solutions across multiple environments.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts in network optimization, performance tuning, and issue resolution through advanced network modeling and analysis.
  • Manage and secure enterprise environments using Cisco ASA firewalls and other security technologies.
  • Design and support SD-WAN solutions, with a preference for Silver Peak.
  • Utilize and maintain network support and monitoring tools, including SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, and NetBox for documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Support Wintel server environments, applying networking principles to optimize performance and integration.
  • Perform regular system audits to verify implementation results and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Contribute to defining and enforcing IT systems, policies, and procedures to maintain consistent quality and security across the infrastructure.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders such as vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless coordination and project delivery.
  • Drive technological research and innovation by aligning new initiatives with organizational goals, strategies, and user requirements.
  • Identify and analyze trends, proactively resolve issues, and recommend improvements for continuous service enhancement.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring execution meets quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Participate in professional development through workshops, technical publications, and industry networking opportunities.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Cisco Routing, Switching, Firewall, and Wireless technologies (minimum 15 years of hands-on experience).
  • Deep knowledge of BGP and VPN technologies (VTI route-based or IPsec).
  • Network Engineering and Administration using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco ISE.
  • Experience with Data Center Management, SD-WAN, and enterprise-grade troubleshooting.
  • Strong grasp of network documentation and asset management via NetBox.
  • Proficiency in technical management, vendor coordination, project planning, and strategic execution.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities with a focus on execution quality and system performance.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant IT experience (15+ preferred for senior-level network engineering).
  • Product or system certifications are a plus.
Additional Information
  • Expected travel: up to 20%, including 2 3 U.S.-based trips before the end of 2025 (may include weekends).
  • All travel expenses will be fully reimbursed.
