Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Indianola, Iowa. This is a long-term onsite contract role offering the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to Office 365 and other enterprise applications.
  • Manage Active Directory: user account creation, permission management, and updates.
  • Support basic network infrastructure: server configuration, structured cabling, and Meraki device maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage backup systems to ensure data security and recovery readiness.
  • Address support tickets with a strong focus on customer service and timely resolution.
  • Deliver deskside and remote support for workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex issues and share technical insights.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, escalating more advanced issues when appropriate.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and Meraki device management.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Able to work 100% onsite in Indianola, IA.
