Position Title: IT Inventory Specialist (ITIS)
Location: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal) or Quantico, VA (onsite)
Contract: 5+ years, starts end of August 2025

Responsibilities
The ITIS shall direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support existing and future digital collection and other operational technology systems within the OTD. ITIS shall work with the Government lead to (1) identify the specific requirements for services needed to support the OTD program(s) and to correlate those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place. ITIS shall be capable of completing professional communications (oral and written), preparing presentations and reports. Staff shall perform a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of one or more program areas. ITIS shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the call order scope of work.

The ITIS shall have demonstrated relevant work experience in:
- Knowledge of program planning, funding, and management information systems.
- Knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support.
- Ability to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements; and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time.
- Ability to identify many different types of IT equipment.
- Packing and shipping IT related equipment and supplies to more than 100 separate facilities in accordance with applicable organization specific policies and procedures.
- Performing inventory control utilizing organization specific inventory management software as of equipment assigned in conjunction with performance of this call order.
- Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, to prioritize effectively, and to accomplish all duties within the time available.
- Conducting inventory of new equipment within strict time allowances to ensure payment of purchase orders.
- Utilizing commercial shipping companies (FedEx & UPS) practices and policies.
- Working in a team-oriented environment.
- Being flexible and responsive to operational needs and address exigent operational needs.
- Providing lifecycle management for components.
- Conducting analysis on work procedures and recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization's management.
- Providing management with studies on ways to increase efficiency
- Current or previous experience is required with the FBI
