Job Details

Job Title: Systems Administrator Job Type: Fully Remote, some possible travel may be required Duration of project: 6 months Job Description:

  • Lead the migration of clinic telephony systems to Avaya Aura Communication Manager, from either legacy Avaya deployments or third-party PBX systems.
  • Perform upgrades and configurations to existing Avaya systems at clinical sites to align with defined enterprise standards.
  • Implement Hunt Group configurations, ensuring consistency across all clinic locations and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineering, clinic operations, and project teams to ensure smooth implementations.
  • Document all changes, configurations, and deployment processes in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Provide post-deployment testing and support.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting or engineering Avaya Aura Communication Manager environments.
  • Demonstrated experience performing telephony migrations (to Avaya) and system upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of hunt groups, vectoring, VDNs, coverage paths, call routing, and clinical call flow design.
  • Experience working in healthcare or clinical environments strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with System Manager, Session Manager, and associated Avaya tools.
  • Ability to follow project plans, standard operating procedures, and change control processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working independently and within a team.
  • ServiceNow system experience is nice to have
