What You'll Do:


Salesforce Ownership & Strategy



  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce platform management, including roadmap development, change management, and system optimization.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Salesforce initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
  • Champion user experience and adoption by designing intuitive, scalable solutions and leading training programs.


Administration & Configuration



  • Manage all aspects of Salesforce user and license administration-roles, permissions, profiles, sharing rules, and org-wide defaults.
  • Implement advanced configuration using Flow, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, approval processes, and custom settings.
  • Maintain the platform health through routine security reviews, health checks, release updates, and sandbox management.


Support, Training & Documentation



  • Handle user support tickets and proactively monitor adoption trends.
  • Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of platform processes, customizations, and integrations.


Data & Integration Management



  • Oversee data quality, governance, and de-duplication using native tools and external apps.
  • Manage Salesforce integrations with third-party tools such as Conga, DocuSign, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), and potentially ERP platforms like Epicor.
  • Evaluate AppExchange applications for functionality and business impact.


qualifications:


  • Experienced Salesforce Admin: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration, ideally with Sales Cloud. Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or ERP integration experience is a strong plus.
  • Certified & Proactive: Salesforce Administrator Certification required. Advanced certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
  • Solution-Oriented Leader: Adept at turning complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Familiar with best practices in BPM and data architecture.
  • Self-Sufficient Problem Solver: Comfortable operating as a solo admin with support from external consultants, Trailhead, and Salesforce user communities.
  • Tech-Savvy Collaborator: Skilled in Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel), and familiar with integration platforms (e.g., Jitterbit, Scribe, Informatica). Apex coding knowledge is a bonus, but not required.
  • Engaged & Curious: Passionate about continuous learning, staying current with Salesforce releases, and active within the Salesforce community.
