About the role:
As an experienced Mechanical Engineer II for Plant Layout Engineering, you will Support teams for design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear and non-nuclear projects. Your overall efforts will reduce physical layout conflicts between commodities coordinating teams for plant design and parameters through physical arrangement assessments.
You will report to the manager of Plant Engineering. You will work hybrid at the manager's discretion based in Cranberry Woods, PA. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Support design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale projects
- Technical coordination between business and technical teams
- Reduce physical layout conflicts between commodities
- Physical arrangement assessments of nuclear island structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using multi-dimensional (3D) design software
- Author, review and verify engineering designs and conduct in-depth reviews of 3D model and plant designs w/ WNEXUS
- Prepare technical reports to satisfy regulatory, code, and contract requirements
- Interface w/ engineers in different departments and global work locations to support design, fabrication, and construction organizations responding requests for information (RFI's), identify design changes, and address deviations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering
- 3D modeling software for physical equipment arrangements and site layout plot plans
- Visual and spatial design skills
