Job Details
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with experience in Guidewire Digital and Jutro to build and customize modern, cloud-ready user interfaces for customer and agent applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React, Jutro framework, and Guidewire Digital Portals with the ability to translate business requirements into clean, responsive UI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Guidewire Digital applications (CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage, ServiceRepEngage, etc.) using Jutro
- Build responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components leveraging the Jutro design system & React framework
- Configure and extend UI pages using JSON-based Jutro configurations
- Implement API integrations with Guidewire backend services (Policy, Billing, Claims)
- Collaborate closely with architects, backend developers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end features
- Ensure UI performance, cross-browser compatibility, and best UX practices
- Troubleshoot defects and production issues related to front-end components
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 6+ years of experience in front-end development
- Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, JSON
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal frameworks
- Practical experience with Jutro UI framework and Jutro components
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud and microservices-based architecture
- Understanding of RESTful web services and API integration
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments
- Ability to analyze and customize Jutro component schemas & themes
