Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Description:
6+ months. 100% Onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support Lean and Six Sigma concepts
- Create manufacturing PFMEAs and Control Plans
- Discover opportunities for improving tooling and processes
- Remain up to date on latest methods and technologies and evaluate their relevance within manufacturing and assembly operations
- Oversee and report key metrics and forge improvement plans
- Lead and take part in continual improvement activities such as SPS, 5S, Six Sigma, and ISO
- Ensure timely completion of action items from SPS and ISO audits
- Aid in establishment, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems
- Lead and make contributions to Digital Quality implementation
- Arrange Pareto charts and 8D reports as required
- Enhance customer satisfaction and meet quality goals through project and process implementation
- Other duties as required
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field required
- Skillful in Lean and Six Sigma techniques and statistical methods
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 8D, 5S, Six Sigma tools, Kaizen events, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Auditing, Process Flow, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design
- Proven experience with Quality, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to lead and work well with others
