Position: Cloud/Aws Engineer with Frontend Skills
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy serverless and containerized applications on AWS using Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
- Build and optimize APIs and backend services using Node.js and integrate frontend applications developed in React.
- Design scalable and high-performance database solutions using DynamoDB.
- Implement and manage distributed messaging systems leveraging Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to define technical solutions and deployment strategies.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Stay updated with AWS services and industry best practices to continuously improve cloud architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development and cloud engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, DynamoDB.
- Proficiency in developing React and Node.js applications.
- Experience with distributed messaging platforms, specifically Kafka.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Familiarity with other infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is an advantage.
