Job Description

We are seeking an early career DevSecOps Engineer to support the Classified IT DevSecOps team in developing and rolling out program infrastructure as well as supporting the Classified IT department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Playing a key role in shaping the organization's approach to integrating development, security, and operations, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cultural and technological changes that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and innovation
Design and rollout the team's infrastructure across multiple programs.
Leverage the latest DevSecOps tools and methodologies to deliver value to our customers quickly, efficiently, and repeatedly.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Full-time onsite role, working both in and out of closed areas.
Basic Qualifications
Basic understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools.
Experience with Linux (RHEL/Rocky) and Windows Server.
Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
Understanding of System Scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell, batch, etc.)
Growth Mindset, with an interest in emerging technologies
Strong written and verbal communications
Understanding of containerization tools like Docker.
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills
Basic skills with version control tools such as Git
Strong documentation skills.
Desired skills
Prefer Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification.
Understanding of Test automation and how to implement in a pipeline approach.
Basic skills and knowledge of Kubernetes Infrastructure (Vanilla, OpenShift, TKG)
Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
Basic network understanding and diagnostics.
Proficiency in using container orchestration tools (Kubernetes and Docker Compose).
Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience with Docker and/or Containerization.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
