SharePoint Developer (Hybrid)
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a SharePoint Developer for their Portland, OR location. This full-time, contract Web Support position will assist the Business Applications Support organization of the IT department. The position will support various out of the box functions, features, and no-code solutions in SharePoint server and user applications. The ideal candidate will be customer-service focused with a keen attention to detail and initiative.

Key Responsibilities for SharePoint Developer:

  • Create and support SharePoint-based no-code solutions and business applications, from conception to implementation.
  • Perform web administrative activities to include troubleshooting, site creation, end-user access, and problem resolution.
  • Provide SharePoint development and support to include Nintex forms creation and workflows.
  • Provide associated project plans to track enhancements.
  • Work with team members and business customers on SharePoint projects.
  • Collaborate with technical and business experts in both individual and group settings.
  • Elicit requirements from end users, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Meet timelines, milestones, deliverables, and provide timely (weekly) status updates.
  • Document existing and new SharePoint processes and procedures.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, site structures, and site collections.
  • Interpret design specifications, assist in technical design, follow-on testing, and deployment procedures.
  • Perform SharePoint training sessions for entry, mid, and advanced level users.
  • Develop solutions from user needs in an Internet enabled application environment.
  • Research and recommend tools and methods for improving and enriching the management of SharePoint services.
  • Distinguish key interactions and connectives among enterprise Internet-enabled applications.
  • Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements.

Requirements/Qualification for SharePoint Developer:

  • Associate or bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information/Computer Technology or a related technical field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience is required with a bachelor s degree in applicable fields.
  • 7 years of experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields.
  • 9 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
  • Experience must include work experience in Computer/Information technology performing Web Administration or Web Support.
  • 5 years of experience in SharePoint version platforms, to include:
  • SharePoint Designer
  • SharePoint Workflows
  • Nintex Forms and Workflows
  • InfoPath Forms.
  • Experience in training, support, and troubleshooting for SharePoint end-users.
  • Experience in the full range of Software Life Cycle (SLC) activities including analysis, design, development, test, deployment, and support within a customer-focused environment.
  • Valid U.S. Driver s License is required.
