Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact programs that drive strategic objectives for their Fortune 500 clients across various industries. This role is pivotal in ensuring initiatives are executed with robust governance, operational rigor, and a focus on value delivery. The successful candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional programs, developing high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement. This full-time position offers the opportunity to influence global projects and transform business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end program delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic vision and measurable business outcomes.
  • Implement governance structures tailored to program needs and manage program resourcing aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and navigate critical dependencies across program levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong, authentic relationships with stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
  • Lead program planning and execution, including oversight of schedules, resource planning, and critical path analysis.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation within program teams, fostering agility and operational excellence.
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree required; Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or ITIL are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years in program/project management with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing complex, cross-functional IT or infrastructure programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a Professional Services and/or Managed Services environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multimillion-dollar programs.
  • Proficient with IT infrastructure, governance frameworks, and program planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with high emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in managing large multi-site deployments for infrastructure projects scaling at least 1000 sites.
  • Availability to engage in projects that may require occasional travel as per program needs.

Pay Range: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
