Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer specializing in systems and networking to join our team in Plant City, Florida. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives in a Managed Services Provider environment while contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic team. The role involves hands-on work with cutting-edge technologies and collaboration across diverse technical domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead and guide a team of Systems Engineers to ensure effective delivery of technical solutions and foster growth and development.
Design, implement, and manage advanced network architectures across a variety of client environments.
Administer and maintain Hyper-V Clustering systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Configure and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune platforms to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to translate technical needs into actionable solutions.
Deliver onsite technical support in the Plant City, Florida area when required.
Ensure security and compliance across all systems and networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and system issues efficiently.
Provide detailed documentation and reports on system configurations and network operations.
Requirements
**Remote role but must live within 2 hours of Tampa**
Advanced networking expertise, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
Hands-on proficiency with Hyper-V Clustering.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune administration.
Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Palo Alto Firewalls, and AWS Managed Services.
Ability to travel locally within the Plant City, Florida area for onsite support.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant technical experience.
*This is a lead role but only requiring one year of experience with that as long as you have a blended background within Network and Systems.*
