Role: Java Solutions Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Java Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Java-based platforms, microservices, and cloud architecture, and will act as a strategic advisor on technology decisions across the organization.
Job Description:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications.
Lead technical design sessions with development teams and provide architectural oversight.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements.
Define and document architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
Guide teams on technical decisions and ensure alignment with architectural vision.
Mentor software engineers and promote technical excellence within the development team.
Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and security guidelines.
Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern Java-based architecture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of software development experience with at least 8 years in Java/J2EE technologies.
2+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent understanding of software design patterns and principles.
Desired Qualifications:
Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Master Java EE Architect).
Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (Angular, React) is a plus.
Familiarity with security and data privacy standards (e.g., OAuth2, GDPR)
