ONSITE M-F (Seattle, WA)
AV/Event Engineer
We are searching for an AV/Event Engineer with extensive expertise in AV conference room systems and live event support. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to
manage, maintain, and troubleshoot AV infrastructure in our Seattle, WA office and across remote offices nationwide. You'll be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of
conference rooms, event spaces, AV technologies, and IT systems while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end AV support (on-site and remote), ensuring reliable operation of:
Conference room systems (Google Meet, Zoom, Logitech conferencing equipment, & Q-SYS)
Audio and video equipment, projectors, displays, and digital signage
Event-based AV livestream needs (All Hands meetings, webinars, town halls, and overall corporate events)
Design, implement, and maintain AV and IT support processes, including regular audits and performance optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Facilities, Events, Workplace Operations) to deliver high-impact solutions for large meetings and events.
Manage complex troubleshooting for AV hardware including Chrome, Logitech and Q-SYS modules and services.
Assist running live in-office broadcasting events and be able to move between audio, video, and graphics operator roles, while in communication with SFHQ team members.
Operate, maintain, and upkeep of live events equipment (Q-SYS ecosystem, LED wall displays, confidence monitors, projectors, PTZ cameras, G-Meet chromebox, Mac Minis, presentation clickers, & speaker timers).
Manage AV-related software for end-users and oversee the deployment, upgrades, and maintenance of AV systems to minimize downtime.
Respond to and resolve escalated AV and IT support requests through the Helpdesk system, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Support remote and hybrid workers by ensuring reliable AV and video conferencing experiences.
Maintain and track AV hardware inventory, making recommendations for future upgrades or replacements.
Ensure the proper deployment and support of AV-related software for end-users.
Traveling to other sites both domestic and international dependent on business needs
Highly organized individual responsible for maintaining and creating meticulously managed/clean spaces. (Storage room, AV Booth, etc.)
Requirements
5+ years of experience in IT and/or AV support, including senior-level troubleshooting and project leadership.
Advanced knowledge of audio-visual equipment troubleshooting (cameras, microphones, amplifiers, displays, AV-over-IP systems).
Expertise with enterprise conference room technologies (Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, Crestron, Q-SYS, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (switches, routers, WiFi, VLANs) and how they impact AV system performance.
Hands-on experience managing Apple products using enterprise tools (JAMF, or similar).
Advanced troubleshooting experience with macOS, Apple hardware, and peripherals.
Experience with ticketing and workflow management systems (JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, or similar).
Excellent leadership, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple large projects.
Ability to lift and handle heavy AV equipment (50+ lbs) as needed for installations and maintenance.
Previous experience assisting with corporate events or large-scale meetings.
Skilled in navigating corporate tech environments and workflows with ease and efficiency.
