Work Location: 100% Remote - MUST reside in North Carolina
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 / year




ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE


Medix is seeking a Care & Utilization Management System Configuration Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our Managed Care clients in North Carolina.


This individual will be joining a team, and will be primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting changes to the configurations in the Care & Utilization Management Platform (ZeOmega JIVA).


We are seeking individuals who have 5+ years of experience, and have prior experience configuring CM/UM platforms such as JIVA. Strong experience with SQL (SSIS/ SSRS, Power BI) is also required.




DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Serving as an Application Configuration Specialist for a healthcare management software platform - ZeOmega JIVA (similar Care Management / Utilization Management will be considered)

  • Conducting application configuration activities - covering code tables, data management, data migration, business rules, assessments, sentinel rules, alerts, basic report development, user maintenance, data loads, etc

  • Representing the core business functions, processes and workflows for the business units utilizing the healthcare management software

  • Serving as a liaison between business units, vendor support groups, and IT Teams

  • Identifying, gathering and documenting business requirements

  • Reviewing and clarifying user stories and user acceptance criteria, overseeing the software modifications and interface design specifications to support the design and configuration process.

  • Configuring, testing and implementing new workflow processes to support company operations

  • Conducting business process mapping

  • Performing unit and end to end testing and debugging of system changes

  • Designing and developing reporting code using SQL and SSRS, customizing to business requirements.

  • Working across the ZeOmega JIVA platform - including Nurse Portal, Provider Portal, Member Portal


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS



  • MUST reside in the state of North Carolina

  • 5+ years of professional experience

  • Experience with Healthcare Management CORE Administration Software - such as HealthEdge Guiding Care, JIVA (ZeOmega), etc

  • Advanced Microsoft SQL, SSRS and Power BI Reporting experience
