Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Automation Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role is for a "hands-on" problem-solver who can support the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge logistics automation projects.

You will work closely with client teams to turn automation strategies into reality. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong implementation experience who is passionate about robotics, software, and AI and is looking to grow into a senior solutions-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Implementation & Support:

    • Act as a key technical resource on automation projects, responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying robotics, WMS, and control systems.

    • Assist in developing and documenting technical specifications for automation solutions.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during integration, UAT, and post-go-live support.

  • Technical Analysis & Design:

    • Support senior architects by collecting operational data, analyzing client workflows, and identifying automation opportunities.

    • Assist in modeling and simulating warehouse layouts and new process flows.

    • Participate in RFI/RFP processes and help evaluate vendor technology from a technical and functional perspective.

  • Project Coordination & Training:

    • Work with project managers to ensure technical milestones are met.

    • Help manage vendor relationships on a day-to-day technical level.

    • Assist in training client end-users on new automated systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:

    • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics/warehouse automation, industrial engineering, or robotics.

    • Demonstrable experience with the implementation or configuration of automation hardware (e.g., AMRs, AGVs, goods-to-person systems, cobots).

    • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or WCS (Warehouse Control Systems).

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Preferred (The "High-Potential" Candidate):

    • Experience with simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim).

    • Familiarity with data analysis or AI/ML concepts (e.g., using SQL or Python to analyze operational data).

    • Experience in a role that required interacting with clients or external stakeholders
