General Atomics Integrated Intelligence (Rome, NY) is seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join its growing team. Candidates must have a strong background in Linux administration and Networking with an ability to work as part of a diverse team as well as independently. In this role, you will deploy, maintain, and support the operation and security of organizational systems and networks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Microsoft Windows administration
- Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53r4, or DISA STIG requirements
- Centralized Authentication
- Configuration Management (e.g., SaltStack)
- Information System Security knowledge
- Experience with Nessus or vulnerability scanning
- Monitoring tools and log aggregation
- Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman)
- Certifications that map to DoDI 8570.01-M (e.g., Linux+, Security+)
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional systems administration experience in an information technology department. May substitute equivalent working experience in the field in lieu of education.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Strong knowledge of networking (e.g., TCP/IP, OSI model).
- Proficient in service configuration (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS).
- Proficient in virtualization technologies.
- Proficient in shell scripting.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, interconnected systems with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
