Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer, ServiceNow will be responsible for the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This includes, but is not limited to, custom applications, workflows, automation, and integrations with third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions in the ServiceNow platform including configuration, customization, and integration.
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions using best practices.
Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configurations, and help-related materials.
Manage platform upgrades and provide ongoing support to users.
Troubleshoot technical issues and work with ServiceNow support when necessary.
Participate in the development and delivery of ServiceNow training programs.
Ensure platform compliance with security and performance standards.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to align ServiceNow implementation with business goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8-10 + years of ServiceNow experience, preferably in a senior/lead role.
Deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and related modules in ServiceNow.
Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), workflows, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow certifications (System Administrator, Implementation Specialist, etc.).
Experience in the healthcare industry.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
