Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a world leading technology organization in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The Cloud Security Engineer will provide and assist with the security direction, support, and best practices for all systems and applications within the organization.
Responsibilities for the Cloud Security Engineer include:
Automate leveraging python
Troubleshoot security issues
Continually research and improve security related prevention, protection, detection, recovery, and remediation technology, plans, and process
Educate and provide direction related to security, process, compliance, and certifications
Requirements for the Cloud Security Engineer include:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work hybrid onsite in the office 2 days a week
2+ years of professional security engineering experience
Cloud experience (AWS and Azure highly preferred)
Strong automation skills leveraging python
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing security protection for desktops, servers, and the network
Configuration management and troubleshooting of multiple security devices
Experience in conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
Experience in monitoring, alerting, data protection and data breach
Compensation for the Cloud Security Engineer includes:
$75,000 - $105,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package
Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law
