Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial services industry, located in New York, for a Senior Systems Analyst. The role involves technical and functional administration of Workday Financial modules, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a specialist in Workday Financials, integrating it with internal and third-party systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Support the delivery of IT development services across the organization
Oversee the technical administration of Workday, including data loads, troubleshooting, and scheduled tasks
Design and run test plans to confirm that systems meet specified requirements and perform as expected
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
Monitor and troubleshoot job scheduling issues, ensuring timely execution of critical processes
Create, modify, and support reports and dashboards using tools such as Snowflake and QlikSense
Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data analysis, integration, and reporting tasks
Collaborate with developers and architects to design solutions that are scalable, efficient, and compliant with IT best practices
Provide training and mentorship to entry level analysts and business partners.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Systems Analyst role within the Financial Services industry
Proficient in using Workday and Workday Financial Management systems
Demonstrable experience with Workday Studio
Proficiency in Qlik Sense and SQL
Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform
Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable strategies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex, technical information in a clear manner
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
