Position: Business Analyst
Duration: 10- 12 / Months Approx
Location: Austin - TX (Hybrid- 4 days Remote -1 day office)
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
- They are seeking to engage one (1) qualified Systems Analyst 3 under the Department of Information Resources (DIR) IT Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC). The selected Candidate shall support system analysis functions focused on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management, including analysis, documentation, integration testing, and interfacing with third-party systems, particularly in a state government asset management environment.
- All work products produced in the engagement shall be considered works made for hire and are the property . Pre-selection requirements may include criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Client will not pay any fees for interviews or discussions that occur as part of the candidate selection process.
Role Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze user requirements, business processes, and system capabilities to recommend improvements and automation solutions.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and documentation of business needs.
- Support and execute hands-on end-to-end testing including third-party systems interfaces.
- Create detailed specifications for system modifications and enhancements.
- Review current system processes and recommend improvements to maximize operational efficiency.
- Participate in formal work sessions and conduct functional analysis presentations.
- Produce documentation for processes, requirements, test cases, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Microsoft Teams and other O365 applications.
- Support project team activities including issue resolution, training, and deployment readiness.
- Adhere to Agile/Scrum practices where applicable and support backlog grooming and sprint planning.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
