Software Solutions Architect - Operations & Administration
Location - Lansing MI

Position Overview
We are looking for a Software Solutions Architect (Operations & Administration) to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise healthcare integration platforms. This role is responsible for system stability, operational support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance monitoring of integration services.
The ideal candidate will ensure reliable message flow, system security, and operational excellence while collaborating with internal teams and external system partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve integration platform issues
- Perform code debugging, fixes, and operational enhancements
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of the integration platform
- Support server patching and application restarts
- Renew, install, and manage system and application certificates
- Support system maintenance and resolve connectivity issues
- Manage error queues and hold queues; reprocess messages as required
- Monitor and respond to system alerts
- Produce latency, throughput, and response-time reports
- Generate regular operational and status reports
- Support production issue resolution and code migrations
- Perform platform version upgrades and related testing
- Coordinate with users and external systems for issue resolution
- Monitor memory usage and manage storage and performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong JavaScript programming knowledge
- Proficiency in SQL and XML
- Experience with HL7 v2.x messaging
- Working knowledge of HL7 FHIR
- Understanding of CDA standards and related healthcare documents
- Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies (LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm)
- Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) ecosystems
- Experience with IHE standards and implementation guides
Preferred Skills
- Experience administering healthcare integration engines (version 7.x preferred)
- Familiarity with developer kits for customization and troubleshooting
- Experience with SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP, and LLP connections
- Knowledge of encryption, TLS, and certificate-based security models
- Experience supporting high-availability and enterprise integration environments
