Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on early-stage cross-functional efforts in collaboration with leaders in research, hardware engineering, software engineering, product management, and design. This role involves managing complex technical programs, developing prototypes, and ensuring effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with research and engineering teams to develop early prototypes.
  • Develop detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking, and analysis.
  • Coordinate communication between internal and external teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Provide key stakeholders with full visibility of the program schedule, progress, and potential roadblocks.
  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary communication of hardware, software, and electrical system requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 8 years of Technical Program Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in driving programs within ambiguous research or v1 development environments.
  • Experience managing external technical engagements with industry and academia.
  • Knowledge in graphics pipeline development, rendering algorithms, GPU architectures, and VR/AR graphics systems.
  • Experience in organizational management, budget control, and headcount management.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing prototype or v1 hardware/software systems.
  • Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers, and hardware engineers.
  • Experience managing Human Studies to support ML data collections.
  • Self-starter with proven analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience in scoping and shipping Consumer Electronics hardware.
  • Experience with computer vision, optics systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cutting-edge technologies with ambiguous development schedules.
  • Vendor and partner relationship management experience, including setting up effective contracts and communication channels.

Pay Range: $95 - $110

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
