Job Details

Responsibilities:

Install AMUs in existing racks or backboards

Connect power from fuse panel and ground AMU properly

Run Ethernet and other signal cables as per provided MOP

Install sensors (temp, HVAC, generator fuel monitoring)

Complete site preparation and ensure all cabling is sealed, labeled, and secured

Submit Close-Out Package (COP) with photos, IP config, and serials

Unit 2: AMU Migration

Scope:

Field Engineers will migrate existing alarms to the newly installed AMU and ensure site alarm monitoring is fully functional.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with BO and NMC to configure alarms

Migrate and verify all site alarms on new AMU

Confirm no active alarms remain post-migration (except known site alarms)

Conduct final testing, ping checks, and alarm validation with NMC

Upload updated milestone and migration COP to portal

Requirements for Both Units:

Telecom field experience with AMU, SiteBoss, or Westell equipment

Strong knowledge of cabling, power, grounding, and RF safety

Familiarity with Verizon/Nextgen MOPs, COPs, and BO coordination

OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, and RF Awareness preferred
