Title: Desktop/PC Support

Location: Columbia, SC

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:

  • Government experience required.

Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):

  • General Knowledge of Personal Computer and Office Automation Systems, General Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of Personal Computer Hardware, Software and Peripheral Equipment Installation, Maintenance and Repair Requires
    Experience in Microsoft Windows, Installing Hardware, And Software.
  • 4+ Years of Experience in Desktop and Networked Systems Support Extensive Knowledge of Desktops, laptops, and tablets.
  • Experience supporting the Microsoft office suite including excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook, and edge browser.
  • Expertise In Supporting Windows 10

Preferred Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):

  • Knowledge of Windows 11. Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Ability To Reason and Think Logically.
  • Ability To Understand and Follow Written or Oral Procedures and Instructions; Skill in the Operation of Standard Office Equipment; Ability to Establish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships with Associates.
  • Incumbents must possess excellent time management, problem-solving, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Operates agency computers, telephones, and tools to assemble and repair agency computers, test equipment, and related equipment.
  • Requires The Exertion Of 50 Pounds of Force Occasionally, up to 20 Pounds of Force Frequently.

Required Education:

  • A High School Diploma and Experience in Computer Deployments, installation, operation, repair, or related systems.
  • An associate degree or a bachelor s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
