Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Primary Skill: Oracle/PLSQL
Secondary: Performance Tuning and Capacity Monitoring Engineer
Experience: 4 to 7 years
Roles & Responsibilities
- At least 3+ year experience working in the Agile Team (preferably Scaled Agile) Agile Project Process Knowledge a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop, review and comment on written technical documentation
- Process oriented and detailed oriented
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced project environment
- Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
- Knowledge of banking industry processes a plus
- Working knowledge of Oracle 19c added capabilities and functionality, Basic knowledge of Golden gate replication
- 7+ years working with PL/SQL
- 7+ years of SQL and PL/SQL performance Tuning experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
- Ability to build and maintain supportive relationships within a team environment
- Strong work ethic and drive for results
- Follow high quality database development standards
- Lead/Participate in design discussions, prototype development
- Refactor code for latest database and hardware technologies
- Provide direct support to Application teams
- Ability to function in agile team environment using Scrum framework
- Understand and apply database structures, theories, principles and practices
- Monitor database application performance and identify current and future potential bottle-necks
