Job Details

Our client, a real estate company in Miami, FL, is in need of an IT Business Continuity Program Analyst for an initial five-month contract. Working onsite daily, the Analyst will support planning and mitigation for events that would disrupt critical business processes. The plans would enable the client to continue operations or efficiently recover from a business disruption.

This role will develop, maintain, or implement business continuity recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity recovery procedures. Additional responsibilities include to plan, conduct, and review business continuity exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. The Analyst will act as a coordinator for continuity efforts during an actual disruptive event.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years dedicated to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Proven, successful, and comprehensive experience in Business Continuity Management
  • Experienced in the implementation and administration of Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) and emergency notification systems
  • Experience developing exercises for recovery teams to test plans and practice regular continuity exercises
  • Excellent communication and program management skills
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: CBCP, BCI, ISO, FEMA, CEM, AEM, PMP, etc.
