Location: Remote supporting Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA

Customer: U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany, GA

Duration: Multi-year program

Start date: Anticipated to become available on 1 October 2025

Security Clearance: Secret clearance

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business, finance, and/or accounting field of study & Minimum of 15 years' experience in finance/accounting occupations

Job Description: Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking CPA candidates with experience working in a government environment and specific experience with the Navy Working Capital Fund.

This position will focus on:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Headquarters Marine Corps Financial Improvement & Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiative to ensure clean audits of Marine Corps financial systems.
  • Supporting the alignment of financial & logistics policies to support clean audit opinions
  • Leading and supporting the execution of audit events, Planning Teams, Working Groups, Cross Functional Teams, and staff synchronization meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business, finance, and/or accounting field of study
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in finance/accounting occupations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on military finance and/or logistics
  • Current/active certification as a Certified Public Accountant

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a robust work environment.

Security Clearance:
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Work Environment:
  • Remote

Travel
  • Travel within CONUS possible (LOGCOM, Albany, GA)
