What You Will Be Doing
Lead the integrated technical and programmatic execution of SEIT efforts associated with the ADP Dynamic Targeting & Surveillance Systems (DT&SS) Portfolio. Reporting to the ADP DT&SS Engineering & Technology Vice President, this position combines deep systems engineering leadership with program execution oversight, ensuring the program achieves its technical performance, cost, and schedule objectives.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of leading multidisciplinary teams through multiple phases of air system development. Responsibility encompasses planning and execution of engineering effort; developing and providing briefings for program milestones, customer briefings, and executive leadership; requirement development/management; proposal support; requirements decomposition; scheduling; process adherence; architectural integration; cross-team coordination; requirements closure; configuration management; risk, issue, and opportunity management, and system documentation.
The SEIT lead will provide technical direction across program teams for effective system integration, formal test/verification planning, and failure management design/test and is expected to foster a culture of accountability, systems thinking, and technical excellence. Successful execution in this role requires collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and engagement with other functions such as production, supply chain, and sustainment to ensure high quality on-time delivery of all products.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Software, Systems, or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
Deep understanding of systems engineering principles (requirements, interfaces, architecture, verification, configuration management).
Proficiency with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, DOORS, Jira) and model-based approaches.
Active DoD security clearance (Secret, Top-Secret Eliigible).
Desired skills
Prior experience as an IPT Lead, Chief Engineer, or Engineering Program Manager on an aerospace development program.
Experience leading agile development or digital engineering transformation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive briefing skills.
Prior experience as an IPT Lead, Chief Engineer, or Engineering Program Manager on an aerospace development program.
Experience assisting the development of Systems/Software Integration Lab test requirements to verify compliance with software performance and vehicle airworthiness requirements
Experience leading agile development or digital engineering transformation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive briefing skills.
Success in operating within the intersection of system design, safety, airworthiness, reliability, and formal testing.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs with earned value or equivalent cost/schedule accountability.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
