Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager at Genius Business Solutions, you ll play a vital role in driving revenue growth, expanding the client base and establishing the company as a key player in the competitive IT industry. Your responsibilities will include a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in business development within the US market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the US IT domain market through proactive prospecting and market research.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new client partnerships.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
Understand the Market:
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the US IT industry.
- Research competitors and identify market gaps to capitalize on.
- Analyze market data and client feedback to identify opportunities for service enhancement and differentiation.
Client Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Understand client staffing needs, challenges, and industry trends to provide tailored IT solutions.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the GBSI's value proposition and differentiate it from competitors.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial arrangements.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the recruitment and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide clear and comprehensive briefs to internal teams based on client requirements.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, activities, and forecasts.
- Provide accurate and timely information to management regarding the status of the sales pipeline and potential risks.
Client Retention:
- Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining strong post-sales relationships.
- Seek feedback and make necessary improvements based on client input.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking functions to build a strong professional network.
- Represent GBSI in a positive and professional manner, contributing to its reputation and visibility.
Continuous Learning:
- Invest time in ongoing learning to keep up with technological advancements.
- Encourage your team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Metrics and Analytics:
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Use data analytics to make informed decisions and refine strategies.
Effective Communication:
- Clearly communicate the GBSI's value proposition and differentiation.
- Tailor your communication style based on your audience.
Negotiation Skills:
- Develop strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals.
- Find win-win solutions that benefit both GBSI and clients.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years as Business development manager and sales.
- Proven track record of Business development management within the US IT industry.
2. Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Indian and US employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
3. Work Ethic:
- Demonstrated strong work ethic with the ability to lead initiatives independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
