What You Will Do:

The Cybersecurity & IT System Controls Managing Consultant will support a DoD Client to help lead a team to optimize all the internal IT and cybersecurity controls throughout all elements of their organization. The Consultant will support audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings. The individual will leverage their cybersecurity and IT controls expertise to develop solutions and recommendations to present to the client and lead efforts to address broader Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) efforts.

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelor's
• FIVE (5) years of Department of Defense experience

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
• Experience managing a team and interacting with clients to include DOD senior officials to include client engagement and task management
• Ability to lead team in fast paced environment
• Knowledge of DoD Control Systems and relevant policies (e.g., DoDI 8510.01)
• Experience with DOD cybersecurity activities and financial reporting
• Performing IT control audits, audit readiness services or audit remediation and sustainment services within DoD or another Federal Government agency or department

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
