RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client looking for an experienced Cisco Certified Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role requires the candidate to work 5 days onsite at the client's campus in Los Angeles (Playa Vista), California.
Routing & Switching:
* Deploy and configure Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to meet business requirements
* Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP to optimize network routing and scalability
* Implement VLANs, spanning-tree protocols, and Quality of Service (QoS) policies to optimize network performance
Wireless Networking:
* Deploy Cisco wireless networks, including access points, controllers, and mobility services
* Perform site surveys, RF optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal wireless coverage and performance
Firewall and VPN:
* Manage and maintain firewalls and VPN concentrators to ensure network security and remote access capabilities;They, not InfoSec, make a lot of changes to their Palo Alto firewalls on the regular
* Configure site-to-site and remote access VPNs using IPSec and SSL technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* CCNA/CCNP certification preferred
* 7+ years of overall network experience
* Routing/Switching experience: Cisco 9000, 9100, 9300, 9400 series, ASR 1000
* Firewall/VPN experience: Cisco FP 2000, 4000 series, Palo Alto 5520/850, Cisco ASA / Palo Alto VPN
* Wireless experience: 9800 Series Controller
* Automation experience (Python), Cisco DNAC, Cisco IS
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
