Job Title: Senior Specialist Quality Engineering (Web testing + Automation)

Work Location- Chicago, IL

Job Description:

Perform manual testing of web-based applications to validate UI elements layout responsiveness and user interactions across browsers and devices.

Validate data accuracy and integrity displayed on web pages against backend systems or databases.

Design develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Cypress or Playwright.

Collaborate with developer s product managers and UX designers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.

Create and maintain test plans test cases and test data for functional regression and integration testing

Log track and manage defects using tools like JIRA Bugzilla or Azure DevOps.

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Ensure compliance with accessibility and usability standards.

2 years of experience in manual and automated testing of web applications

Strong understanding of UIUX principles and web technologies HTML CSS JavaScript

Experience with test automation tools eg Selenium WebDriver Cypress Playwright

Familiarity with test management tools eg TestRail Zephyr

Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing

Experience with cross browser and cross device testing

Excellent analytical problem solving and communication skills

Experience with CICD pipelines and integration of automated tests

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured

Knowledge of performance testing tools eg JMeter LoadRunner is a plus

ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus
