Responsible for the technical and functional design plus the implementation of highly complex and business critical information technology applications. IT Lead serves as both Program Lead and/or Project Manager and directs additional business and information technology resources for approved IT projects. IT Lead manages the technical development of applications required to support business activity, including development of process maps, performance metrics and training. IT Lead must fully understand business goals and objectives and ensure that approved IT projects meet organization-wide strategic goals with anticipated return on investment. Ensures IT projects are conducted under, and adhere to standards, processes and procedures as defined by the business IT Organization.
IT Lead role applies to the following domains: Enterprise Resource Planning Transactional Services; Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality Services; Logistics & Warehouse Services; Employee Services; Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Services.
Role/Responsibilities Scope:
- Responsible for strategic information technology platforms and computer systems that support enterprise goals.
- Communicate with responsible executives regarding new IT projects scope, costs, risk potential and expected value/return on investment.
- Implement and maintain adherence to internal IT related standards, processes, and procedures.
- Perform Program Management role (portfolio of IT related initiatives/projects) and manage individual projects from start to successful completion
- Coordinate and assist Sourcing (plus Legal) with evaluating and negotiating IT contracts both software licensing / maintenance and project implementation consulting.
- Manage IT related budgets (personnel; hardware; licensing; maintenance) for Capital and Expense initiatives/projects
- Establish and maintain the strategic services provider partnership
- Organize and implement Master Data creation/maintenance processes/procedures (examples - Material Master; BOM; Recipe; Batch Search Strategy; Pricing, Output Conditions; EHS and dangerous goods; Business partners Customers and Vendors).
- Recruit, evaluate and hire IT staff members
- Provide manufacturing, sales and regulatory compliance reporting:
Qualifications:
- Core:
- Possesses global business acumen; sets goals and drives to execution (people, process and technology); ensures both responsibility and accountability; experienced in situational adaptability.
- Dedicated customer orientation and focus; ability to work with all team members (executive to entry level);
- Collaborative; action oriented; promotes and champions change within organization
- Has IT Program and Project management expertise in multinational organizations
- Proactive risk mitigation and issue resolution
- Technical:
- Core SAP S4/HANA and third-party solutions integration landscape design, implementation, support and on-going maintenance
- Business Processes / Functional: S/4 HANA system functionality
- Order-to-Cash
- Procure-to-Pay
- Manufacturing
- Warehouse Operations
- Finance (FI - legal financial statements and CO - internal management reporting)
- Project Systems
- 3rd party systems integration (e.g., LIMS quality management sampling)
