Job Details

  • Position: SAP Cost Flow Design Consultant Utilities Sector
    Location: Remote with 30% Onsite in Allentown, PA
    Contract Length: ~4.5 months (17 weeks, 3 days) 75% chance of extension
    Work Authorization: Open to all

    Key Must-Have Skills

  • SAP Cost Flow design for Utilities (minimum 2 full life cycle implementations)

  • Knowledge of FERC regulations and integration within SAP (minimum 2 full life cycle implementations)

  • Experience with cost center accounting, internal orders, and allocations

  • Strong integration skills with SAP Project Systems and General Ledger

  • Utilities industry experience

  • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Project Systems and integration with Powerplant

  • Role Overview

    We are looking for an expert-level SAP professional with deep experience in cost flow and regulatory design for the utilities sector. The consultant will lead the design and implementation of cost flows for regulated utilities, ensure FERC compliance within SAP, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.

    Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in client discussions for cost flow and FERC integration topics

  • Minimum two end-to-end SAP implementations in relevant areas

  • Strong hands-on expertise in cost center accounting, internal orders, and allocations

  • Preferred:

  • Project Systems experience, especially with Powerplant integration

  • Interview Process

  • 1 2 technical assessments

  • Client phone screen and possible panel interview

  • Additional Details

  • Part of the Record to Report (RTR) team focusing on specialized financial processes for a utilities client

  • Travel expenses covered (with prior approval)

  • High impact role with strong extension potential
