Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client located in Downtown Houston, TX has a need for an Oracle Fusion Developer and Administrator. This is a contract role with potential to convert to a full-time position eventually. The candidate must be onsite three days/week and is able to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. There is no exception to the onsite requirement.

Summary:
The Oracle Fusion Developer will be primarily responsible for design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of IT applications in Oracle Fusion platform. The candidate interfaces with clients at all organizational levels and takes business requirements and delivers technical work to yield productive products for end-users.

Duties Include:
* Performs planning, development, coding, testing, migration to production, and the maintenance of applications in multiple technical landscapes
* Design user flows, platform architecture, software patterns, and data models to support current and long-term business needs
* Adheres to applications standards and best practices
* Coordinates with upstream and downstream application teams and Infrastructure teams to ensure overall success of the application
* Troubleshoot production issues and remedy these in a timely manner with minimal disruptions
* Participates in disaster recovery in case of disaster situation and supports scheduled annual disaster recovery tests, including maintenance of required documentation and coordination of user participation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
* 5+ years of demonstrated experience of Oracle Fusion SOA, OSB and Java language, Operating systems such as Linux and Windows and ability to participate in multiple projects at the same time
* Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware including SOA, OSB and Java Language development
* Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner
* Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Preferred:
* Certification - Training or Certification on Java Application servers, Cloud Solutions and Oracle PL/SQL Language is an added plus
* Knowledge in Java Application servers like Oracle WebLogic, Apache or IBM WebSphere and Internet technologies like HTML, XML, WSDL, Scripting languages, knowledge of SDLC activities on development project
* Knowledge of PL/SQL programming using Oracle Database, TOAD/SQL Developer, Understanding of Cloud Technology and Solutions
* Utility Industry knowledge

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
