Work closely with clients and project team members in the development of construction documents for institutional and private clientele for a wide array of challenging projects, from the first field visit through the successful completion of construction.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the detailed design of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or low-voltage electrical systems in commercial and institutional buildings
- Perform field inspections of existing buildings to obtain existing condition take-offs needed for design and detailing work
- Work with clients and other project stakeholders to determine and coordinate overall system requirements
- Construction administration services - submittal and shop drawing reviews, review and respond to RFI, schedule coordination, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- N/A
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of broad-based design experience as an engineer within a consulting environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated ability as a problem solver
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Competency with MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with online project management platforms such as BlueBeam, ProCore, and SubmittalExchange
- Direct experience in systems installation or with a contractor is a plus
- Professional Engineer licensure is a plus

- NYS Professional Engineer Registration is preferred
