Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior IAM Analyst/Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role will support the implementation and optimization of SailPoint and Ping platforms, which are critical to our enterprise security and access control strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis within IT environments, particularly in IAM, and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for IAM solutions.
  • Support the implementation of SailPoint Identity Governance and Ping Access Management platforms.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to support IAM initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Assist in the development of training materials, user guides, and change management communications.
  • Analyze access data and generate reports to support compliance, audit readiness, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IAM operations.

Experience

  • 7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in IT or cybersecurity environments.
  • 7 years of experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Ping, Okta, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, role-based access control, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools and techniques
  • Skilled in creating and presenting executive-level project communications.
  • Skilled in gathering requirements from business divisions.
  • Skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.
  • Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users, including executive staff.
  • Skilled in facilitating group meetings with internal and external resources.
  • Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution.
  • Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
  • 4 years of experience with one or more of the states of Texas government agencies (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks (Preferred).
  • IAM-related certifications (Preferred).
