Job Details
The Client Investment Office is engaging in services with Company Name to assist with application development, system maintenance and support. This resource will provide technical analysis, application development, and support to INVO business critical execution and order management trading system (CRIMS), Investment Data Processing (IDaP) and its affiliated tools.
Minimum Qualification:
1.Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting critical investment management systems, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and system documentation practices.
2.Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with C# language skills, Object Orientated development methodologies and PGP encryption/decryption experience.
3.Minimum of ten (10) years of experience developing/supporting software using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies
4.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in advanced/complex Excel Macros, Add-ins and workbooks, MS Access.
5.Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Technical Project Management.
6.Minimum five (5) years of experience performance tuning complex SQL queries.
7.Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing and deploying Crystal reports and/or SSRS reports.
8.Minimum five (5) years of experience developing investment enabling interfaces with Client banking, investment management, and financial information partners, including, but not limited to Blackrock Aladdin, Charles River Order Management System, and State Street Bank.
9.Minimum of two (3) years of experience in design, development and support of software applications in a Microsoft Azure Cloud hosted environment.
10.Minimum three (3) years of experience in HTTPS and SFTP/FTP tools.
Project Scope/Tasks
Deliverable 1: Analysis and Design
- Analyze business requirements, evaluate options, and offer recommendations for technical solutions related to new work, enhancements, and defect resolution.
- Estimate the level of effort to complete the requested scope of work.
- Provide detailed technical assistance based on existing application and scripted processes/interfaces to the various INVO projects
Deliverable 2: Development and Testing
- Develop and support processes for file transfers to and from the different Investment Office vendors
- Assist ITSU team members in Azure Cloud developments
- Assist ITSU team members in Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) upgrade
- Assist ITSU team members in developing custom code utilizing vendor API in C#.
- Maintain documentation for all enhancements and changes made to any systems, Excel Macros Add-ins, workbooks, databases, and processes for complete change history
- Deploy solutions to production environments following established Change Request procedures and validate execution of such solutions after deployments.
Deliverable 3: Application Support
- Assist ITSU team members in daily monitoring and support of Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS)
- Assist ITSU team members in daily monitoring and support of Investment Data Processing (IDaP)
- Support established business processes for Data Integrity Group, Equities, Fixed Income, Operations, and ITP
- Maintenance & Support of other INVO Systems and Processes related to IDaP.
- Escalate system issues or risks to the appropriate CalPERS staff as they are identified.
- Track production issues and resolutions and provide periodic reporting.
- Provide periodic updates on progress to ITP and ITSU
Deliverable 4: Knowledge Transfer
- On an ongoing basis, through the end of the contract, all work products, and deliverables (project status reports, business process, triage incident reports with resolution, meeting minutes, test cases, test outcomes) details must be discussed with the contract manager to ensure that all of the information is documented and placed in a file share. The contract manager will schedule knowledge transfer sessions at regular intervals to ensure that all the work production details have been documented and the knowledge has been transferred to state personnel. Knowledge transfer to State staff is part of each project when the projects are completed and released into maintenance mode.
