Product Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Designer in Saint Louis, MO.

Key Tasks:
* Design detailed flows and digital interfaces that are simple, effective, and elegant utilizing software such as Figma, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite products, etc. in an organized manner
* Partner closely with product and development teams as well as stakeholders to find effective but practical solutions to design problems within product requirements and user stories
* Translate conceptual designs into visual wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
* Ensure brand standards, heuristics, accessibility, and consistency are incorporated into designs
* Utilize existing design patterns while exploring improvements to components within the design system
* Present and effectively communicate design deliverables for review with stakeholders and other designers
* Integrate customer and employee usability findings into ongoing product optimizations to meet key performance objectives
* Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
* Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Design, New Media, Interaction Design, User Experience (UX), or related field
* Experience in product design, web design, UI/UX design and/or art direction with a focus on web and mobile digital products
* Experience with developing low- and high- fidelity prototypes for user testing
* Experience with visual and digital design tools such as Axure, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, HTML/CSS or similar
* Strong portfolio of demonstrated visual design aptitude - a great sense for color, form, typography and other interactive design elements
* Preferred Familiarity with human-centered design methodology and inclusive design principles

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
