The Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio in the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit has an immediate opening for a Earned Value Lead. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional partners.

In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of finance and the overall organization. The Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio generates approximately $400M in revenue per year. The Financial Analyst will have a key role in the setup and execution of multiple large contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance. This position will be interacting/collaborating with a variety of different internal and external customers. This role will lead contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) requirements on complex programs.

What You Will Do
  • Lead development cost-plus contractual EVM contracts.
  • Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
  • Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
  • Support of all program financial aspects including monthly financial Earned Value reporting.
  • Program controls such as developing EACs and execution of EVM processes.
  • Develop and train a group of two to there financial analysts on best practices for Earned Value management.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
  • Typically requires 8+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years prior relevant experience
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc) in proposal development and program execution.
  • Experience analyzing data and information necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are identified and corrective action is taken.
  • Experience with MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Working knowledge of SAP, APEX EV, Business Warehouse.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) & Experience with and knowledge of APEX EV.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal/external dissemination.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Experience in preparing and delivering monthly Earned Value CDRLs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
