Job Title: MES PINPoint System Developer
Location: LAFAYETTE,Indiana,47905 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

Skill Set

  • Hands-on experience with PINpoint MES implementation and programming.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially torque application and BOM management.
  • Proficiency in system integration, PLC communication, and industrial programming languages (e.g., VBScript, SQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with torque tools and their integration with MES platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Detailed job description:.

  • Configure and deploy the PINpoint MES to support manufacturing workflows.
  • Map design BOM data to torque application processes within the system.
  • Develop and maintain custom logic, scripts, and integrations for PINpoint.
  • Interface PINpoint with ERP, PLM, torque tools, and other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implementation and production.
  • Ensure traceability and data integrity across all stages of production.
  • Document system configurations and train users on PINpoint functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, data flow, and tool connectivity.

Mandatory skills and requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring the system to bridge the gap between the Design Bill of Materials (BOM) and the application of torques in the manufacturing process Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially torque application and BOM management.
  • Proficiency in system integration, PLC communication, and industrial programming languages (e.g., VBScript, SQL, or similar).
