Key Qualifications:
5-7 years' experience.
You have experience working with cross functional teams to help guide strategy utilizing insights surfaced through data exploration.
You are comfortable working with large datasets and can pinpoint the relevant insight.
You have strong analytical and modeling skills and a deep understanding of statistical and forecasting principles.
Strong Excel skills are essential and experience with SQL, R, Python or related tools is a plus.
You love to create data visualizations and have experience using Keynote and tools like Tableau and Looker.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex findings concisely.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable developing relationships and working cross-functionally across diverse teams.
You are a critical thinker with a curious mind and have the ability to focus on the details, with an eye on the broader landscape.

Client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Partner Content Optimization team at Client Music. As part of a centralized team that collaborates with editorial, label relations, marketing, and data teams, you'll act as a domain expert, leveraging data to inform and drive Client Music strategy across the Client Music and iTunes business landscape.
Partner Content Optimization is a critical function within the larger Content Business Management group. We focus on contextualizing macro-economic music trends, optimizing partner content performance, surfacing new release and catalog insights, and conducting industry research. Leverage your music industry and analytics expertise to highlight trends, identify opportunities, and measure performance to be shared both internally and externally.

In this role, you will:
Analyze new release performance on Client Music, providing insights and recommendations to help record labels improve their new release strategies and drive closer collaboration with Client Music.
Analyze record label performance and content trends, both on Client Music and across the broader industry, and make recommendations to internal stakeholders to help improve partnership performance and growth.
Build dynamic, forward-looking models to inform content partnership strategies with labels to drive increased market share for new and catalog releases on Client Music.
Frame and communicate your findings to stakeholders, including Music Business Partnerships, Music Business Development, and international music teams.
Use a variety of datasets and methodologies to understand changes in the global music landscape, performing complex analysis and sharing your findings in a clear, concise, and credible way.
Prepare analysis and Keynotes for label business reviews, working closely with Music Business Partnership and Music Business Development to craft data-driven narratives.
